Vinehout enters governor-recall race
February 8, 2012 at 7:27 am in River Falls Journal
Kathleen Vinehout, D-Alma, who represents a large portion of Pierce County in the Wisconsin Senate, announced today that she will run for governor in this year’s upcoming recall election.

This is great news! There will be a dem primary where a fake democrat or Walker as a write-in will easily win.

I thought WEAC endorsed Falk, didn’t Vinehout get the memo?
Walker haters, you need an update:
Indiana passed Right to Work law and even though Democrat legislators fled to Illinois their capitol wasn’t occupied, no recalls on the horizon.
Illinois: Governor Quinn (isn’t he a Democrat?), wants to cut 2 billion dollars from medicaid budget because of state financial problems…do you think he mentioned that in his campaign?
Now why is Walker being recalled? Blogger David Blaska, a self-described recovering liberal, has a good opinion piece on Falk and the protests of a year ago. An interesting excerpt:
“Dan Bice of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Marty Beil of the State Employees Union and Mary Bell and Dan Burkhalter, leaders of the state teachers union, traveled to Milwaukee to tell Mayor Tom Barrett, point blank, to back the *heck (*edited so this site doesn’t flag) out. That is how democracy works in organized labor.
As the hordes occupying the State Capitol a year ago might have chanted, as they banged on plastic buckets, “Whose democracy? The union bosses’ democracy!””

I’m so looking forward to writing him in as the democrat in the democratic primary. Isn’t it great to have an open primary in WI? Alice, maybe you could find a “fake Republican” to run in a Republican primary against Walker…we could drag this thing out till 2014, all the while with Walker unlimited in his fundraising. He currently leads dems 15-1 or so in $ raised.

wow alice, your “Walker Investigation” website is paid for by the Democrat Party of WI. surprise, surprise, surprise….
According to the six degrees of seperation theory, and the banner on the page (“Who did he know? And when did he know it?”) your picture should be appearing on the website at some point in the future. tsk, tsk, shame, shame
I’m glad the citizens of Milwaukee Co have so much extra money to pay their Democrat DA to be a Walker stalker. The question is: what state level office will the DA be running for in the future? I’m sure he’s loved by the WI Dem Party royalty. Would he be pursuing Walker so much if Walker was a Democrat? Let’s talk about hypocrisy in politics again, since that has been a main meme in the recall effort.
Oh, I see the Dem Party of WI has their collective hand out for donations to fund the investigation…I imagine some of Obama’s now-approved super PACS are supporting the effort, and you should give to show your support too.

I wonder if Vinehout will take her orders from union leaders as Falk has pledged to do.
Media Trackers comments on a Milw Journal Sentinal article (link given in Media Trackers piece, btw, JS now limited access w/o subscription) regarding Falk’s “secret” meetings with union bosses where she pledged she will veto any budget that does not include repeal of Act 10 (collective bargaining reforms.) Note: Tim Cullen, who decided not to run in a recall election, indicated he could not make such a pledge given the size of the budget and the history of previous budget battles. Who is the more honest politician?
IF, (a very big IF) Falk were elected to governor and realized she couldn’t repeal Act 10 because of property tax increases, would her party work to recall her?
