‘Highland Wind’ group drops $25 claim against town of Forest

Emerging Energies, the developer trying to build Highland Wind, has threatened to sue other communities to get what they want. Just ask Manitowoc County and the town of Mishicot. In fact, just ask the people that live in Shirley, WI where this developer installed eight 500-foot tall turbines how they like living in a wind project. At least eight families became sick after Shirley Wind, LLC went online just over a year ago. Electrical testing showed high and dangerous levels of electrical pollution at their kitchen sinks.
