Well stated. The criminals will ALWAYS find ways to get guns. Keeping law abiding citizens from carrying a gun would do more harm than good.

I agree. Only one problem with the article, and that’s where he states “Minnesota requires, at least, a permit to purchase obtained from the sheriff after a background check and fee.” Not true – If you don’t have the “permit to purchase”, you can still purchase the handgun after filling out the appropriate paperwork and waiting the required amount of time.
Either way, the permit to purchase is redundant.
