Mr. Plante, you should be ashamed of yourself. Everyone else out in the hockey community recognizes the danger in checking from behind and is speaking out and here you are saying the “cowardly” kids are to blame as are the officials for being out to get you when they make the call. I’ve seen you in action and you are an embarrassment to the game by your actions not to mention how you’ve offended a paralyzed kid and his family by your comments. No one likes you on the ice, not because someone’s out to get you but because of the kind of behavior that you’ve displayed here. Do everybody a favor and keep your comments to yourself both on and off the ice. You don’t deserve to be behind the bench. Let someone with some class lead that group of talented players. It will be even better to watch them at the state tourny without having to watch you bark.
