Really? Why? My husband and I just went to a movie there last week. Now there is NO entertainment in this area for youth or adults. Unless one wants to hang out in a smokey bar. No wonder there is an alcohol problem in North Dakota. With all the people moving into the area and needing entertainment, this is a poor decision. One of the first things I noticed when I moved here more than two years ago was no skating rink and limited movies. I am very disappointed. If I had the resources I would reopen the theater. Come to Dickinson, we have NOTHING here.
Guess we will have to have weekends away in Bismarck more than a couple times a year if we want to see movies or do ANYTHING.

This is probably for the good. When the new one opens maybe it will be finally managed like it should be. That theatre has been a travesty for years.

I did read there was a new one opening up. I hope it is bigger and more updated than the Carmicke one. I miss a good movie experiance.
