Belfield has a trailer park that is now housing man camps for Key Energy and Nabors. I thought that they were suppose to be for individual families. When the trailer park had these companies sign agreements they took business away from local motels at down season.
This also took housing away from families that desperately needed it.
The oil companies can afford to pay higher rent but our local employees at 9 and 10 an hour can not. Why was the mobile home park allowed to put man camps in after the city said they could not? Shoudnt the oil companies now have to use these mobile homes for housing married families. The men in these camps dont like it either. They work 14 plus hours a day with each other and dont want to share a living room. Its four to 6 differnet people not related living in a mobile home.
