I firmly believe that when in cases like this and similar, when people are caught in the act of murder they should be put to death. There is no question this guy killed the young woman. There is no question he meant to do it. Why in this day and age do some feel the need to keep scum like this alive? What good comes from keeping a person locked up for life? They will never be a functioning part to society ever again…that is the object to “put them away for life” So those against the death penalty, please tell me why not save us all some money and prison space by blotting out killers that have been caught in the act. Please bring the death penalty on the ballet for the voters. I would bet it passes easily. This guy is 24 years old and he will cost all of us $50,000+ per year for rest of this scum bags life. (In 50 years Darek will cost tax payers least 2.5 million!) To bad Darek, it comes down to simple math…you are not worth keeping alive!

He’s not worth $2.50 to keep alive.
It’ll be immensely difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to argue against the death penalty in this situation!

Other than our state.
Mn might still have it, if they hadn’t screwed up the last one they did, way back when. Hung the dude three times, after the darn cheap rope broke, and the old Pioneer Press had a field day with it.
Hence, no more hangings in Mn.
