So we learn a little more here. Ph. D. in drama (partially explains her connection to Shelly Moore) and her husband is a professor at UW-RF, which largely explains the union connection since UW-RF faculty recently voted to go union. Despite her salary as a lawyer, she will probably go to Madison to try to recover part of her husband’s pension payment and his increased health insurance costs. Gee, no conflict of interest there.
She thinks that fairness and civility are gone from state politics. I agree that civility ended when democratic legislators hurled their drinks at, swore at and otherwise threatened republican legislators. I don’t remember the same sort of activities going on in congress when the democratic controlled white house and congress passed Obamacare. Fairness for democrats means that when they are in the majority, they cram through their legislations. But when republicans are in control, they are supposed to compromise with the democrats.
This is going to be fun to watch.
