Yes, Grand Forks fans were cheering for NDSU

You do realize that Fargo is not NDSU and Grand Forks is not UND right? They are both STATE institutions, with residents from every ND city having an equal stake in their success. The universities are funded through the State, not through the cities in which they are located.

I did not understand the dogging of Grand Forks either. I personally would not dog any of the towns I have lived in. They were all just fine to great. One of my best four year stretches in my life was in Grand Forks during college. I would not trade those years for anything in the world. If the argument is that population makes a place greater than the other, I would disagree. My favorite town is my small little hometown of 500 people in North Dakota. They will have my heart forever and no big city can replace it.

What I don’t get is the common chant that goes on at Bison Games of “Sioux S#@K” Even at the Gopher game they were cheering it.

Too bad, Hidlegard.
For once, ND has something to cheer about. And most don’t care about your trashcomment.
