Removing the Pamida name from our area is a darn shame. We’ve all grown up with a store called “Pamida”, a strange name, but with a correct spelling. Now, we are introduced to a store called “Shopko”, and with all the “MY life. MY style. MY store.” adds, we’re all going to become more selfish. Our moral fiber will decay in no time.

This is a bit confusing…Shopco already owns Pamida since 1999 but are now merging? I pull trailers out of the Pamida/Shopco distribution center in Omaha so all this time I figured they were merged. So should the article basically read that Pamida/Shopco will to a massive remodeling project? instead of a merging project?
