I would think that people would break out the torches and pitchforks. The thing is the state brags all the time about all it is doing, but the truth is it’s dragged it’s feet horribly. Basically, the only things that are done are the improvements on a couple of state highways, and those were making a good 2 lane road where a 4 lane road is needed.
Money is finally starting to flow towards the oil patch but then it takes time to build things. It’s going to be quite awhile before the building comes anywhere close to catching up.
And this is two building seasons after the governor said a special session was not needed because the state had programs already in place to take care of the needs. Two years later the truth or lack thereof should be evident to all.
