Welcome to N.D., Jimmy. How do you plead?

Jimmy Baldwin, the onetime homeless resident of tony Aspen, Colo., who received a one-way bus ticket to North Dakota last week, has found room and board in Williston in the Williams County Jail. He is scheduled to appear Thursday morning in Williston Municipal Court on a charge of disorderly conduct, stemming from his arrest Friday after he allegedly urinated on the front of Whispers, a strip club.

Lets spend some surplus money and send him back to Aspen. He will probably end up costing the tax payers more money than the ticket in the long run

I’m sure he will eventually find his way to the mission in Grand Forks! The guy is no doubt a mental case!

“To be fair, people in Aspen had warned that Baldwin, 32, has had trouble with “impulse control,” which led to several run-ins with the law in that city.”
What does this mean? Williston knew he was coming and agreed? Even with the lack of available housing? Hope not.
Williston should be able to bill Aspen for all his expenses.

Aspen Co. should have done the right thing and got this man the proper help he needs instead of putting him on a bus & shipping him away.. People with his problem usually can’t find a job because of there behavior & that is where Aspen Co was wrong for shipping him away instead of getting him help..

Isn’t Aspen a very liberal Democrat town? Lot’s of Hollywood liberals ski there? Lot’s of wealthy leftists? This is how liberal Democrats REALLY think about the poor.

Yes…A nice low cost of living area like aspen must be just filled to the rim with those nasty ol’ liberals……Can’t hardly turn around without bumping into one of them on those inexpensive ski lslopes can you? You solved that one Sherlock…..

Come on Herald….Take this guys picture of the front page like this. He’s not some sex offender or some big time criminal. By putting this picture here you’re basically deamonizing this guy. Maybe he is a jerk or maybe he just plays one once he gets a bit of booze in him…In either case you’re making him appear like public enemy number one…..and that’s over the line…

Agree–take his picture off the front page. It is taking up room where I’m sure another fighting sioux article could be.

I’ll say!
It’s plain that they’re picking on a guy who’s obviously mentally ill. The initial story on this guy made that clear.
Anything to sell papers, I suppose.

Yes, Maybe we could see ana article about the rising tensions in the Middle East over the Strait of Hormuz. But then again that would shift focus to Obamas response which would be complete cowardice and utter failure. Better to protect your beloved Liberals by sticking with irrelevent topics, not national level problems that are brewing. We will just have to go to the real News oulets for that info.

Other your on going quest to show anything you disagree with as a liberal conspiricy….You make a good point…..The problem with doing much news regarding the middle east is that unless there’s a direction to people here that’s immeadiatly obvious….Most people just ignore the story. I do too but primarily because I’m just fed up with all the backward crap that goes on throughout the middle east. IThe best quote about the middle east I ever heard went something like…”God sure must have a sense of humor putting the bulk of the worlds oil under civilizations that haven’t moved forward since about 1000 AD” It’s just hard to give a damn about much of what happens there unless it flows here directly…And of course oil is part of that flow….But they already have the world by the short hairs so what are you going to do?

Sorry tundra, but I had to laugh when I read your quote about God putting the bulk of the oil under civilizations that haven’t moved forward since the 1K AD.
What got me going is the fact that God seems to have put a large share of that oil under North Dakota.
Just wonder how much is under the good Capt’s little abode?

Shhhh…You weren’t supposed to notice that. I think that quote was before they discovered we had such a huge pool down there….As for the rest…Well there are people in other states who are surprised that we get news from TV and radios up here…Not many, but they are out there…People who somehow think parts of America just hasn’t progressed with the rest of the country….They don’t leave their area too often I guess…..But hey…About a month ago I met a woman in Houston who told me she had been to the southern part of the state and thought SD was probably warmer than the northern part……Good thing I didn’t have a mouth full of coffee at the time…
