The poor quality of the pies is hidden when eaten on the North Shore with the extra fun factor thrown in. but take those same poor quaity pies and place them outside of their known environment and they won’t taste the same- and they are trying to via for business in an area which has many more places with higher quality pies.

Add in going to a low-traffic area (Seriously, nobody here in the TC goes “Oh hey, let’s go to Mahtomedi!”) and call it arrogrance or stupidity, but not getting any change of arrangements in writing? Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. At my company we don’t make any changes in a contract, even if they’re a couple hundred dollars, without a proper change-request contract.

I have an apartment not too far from there. I had no idea it was there. Part of being in business is advertising.

I don’t think the pies have tasted as good after Betty sold the business. Betty’s pies tasted like good homemade pies.
