Everyone is supposed to call one-call, but with all the locates necessary in Western ND, the locates aren’t getting done because nothing in the law requires the company to locate, just you aren’t liable.
Thing is, when you cut into a gas line it isn’t just liability that is the issue, it’s safety.
Plus, with no real record of where things are, I don’t even think one call knows everyone to call in all situations.
