Examine the tax situation of the resident who requires city-provided free parking in front of his home. Presumably he has not gone to the expense of providing his own off-street parking or garage space like most residents have. Is it free for students to park or do they have to buy a parking permit? what are taxes used for-street lighting, parking, clean water, sewage overflows, utility repairs? I would be happy to pay for less goverment maybe we should ask Jay Leno as I recall we were a national joke
