ST. PAUL Minnesota’s first female Senate majority leader resigned after fellow senators confronted her with allegations she had an inappropriate relationship with a male Senate employee.

To error is human. To be a hypocrite is not unusual. To be an outspoken advocate against gay marriage and to have an “affair” at work is worse than being a clergy person and diddling with your flock( adult or child).
The lack of comment from the usually vocal true believers is deafening!
At least the other politicians did a fine job of getting her out of the leadership position. She should be forced to resign instead of hanging around for the lucrative pension she will get!

She needs to be asked these questions, considering the power she held in her position = Who was he? Was he married? Did you threaten him? Did you coerce him? What did you make him do? What did you promise him? How was your affair discovered? Did he tell on you? Did someone hear the two of you re-arranging the furniture in your office? Did you break and fall through the floor?

Once Amy has answered those questions, she needs to be asked this = You do understand that in normal circumstances, adultery is nobody’s business except the families directly affected by the sinful act…but in this case, because you felt it was necessary to insert your own version of morality and “Christianity” into every bedroom and household in Minnesota at the VERY SAME TIME you were carrying on an illicit affair with this unknown person, then it is completely necessary that we ask and get answers to the above-stated questions…do you understand this, Amy?

Apparently it is still illegal for a female to engage in adultery in MN. As a goverment leader she should be put on trial and punished if found guilty.
As a non-religious libertarian leaning conservative, the religious right sickens me. These hateful bigots don’t give a rip about limited gov’t. and freedom. All they are really interested in is promoting their religion and forcing their values onto people. They can kiss their legislative majorities goodbye. Between this and Newt’s strong showing it should be the death knell for the sanctity of marriage amendment.

Whoever the guy is, he’d better hope his identity remains a secret. How embarassing!

Don’t forget, the MN GOP is $1.275 million in debt as well. “Party of fiscal responsibility, run govn’mt like a business”… Yea, you betcha!
I will admit, the MNGOP is fun to watch. They definitely know how to brighten my day.

So, she was right out in front in getting the “marriage vote” passed? And, right out in front, trying to get the penalties for adultery in MN increased?
Well, shoot, lady, I really would like to see you brought up on charges for adultery, and pay the $3K fine and serve the year in jail!
Hypocrite…
