How many lives are lost because of the crappy light cars that are on the roads because of gov’t mileage standards? Are those lives okay to lose in the name of the green world and global climate warming change or whatever it is called today?

The long term solution will be to produce cars that are on automatic pilot to allow passengers to do whatever they like incl. reproduction. They are already in development.
