Area post offices to learn future

In the coming months, residents in a dozen nearby rural communities will learn if their post offices will close after a study that started in July ends.
On July 26, the U.S. Postal Service announced that 3,600 post offices across the country could be closed to save costs.

the jamestown public schools actually had an enrollment increase this year. Your beloved Fargo’s public schools have had declining enrollment for about 6 years, despite the addition of a new high school.

Both cases are caused by open enrollment and private schools. It has nothing to do with the populations of either city.
I’ll let the census figures do the talking. Jamestown has virtually the same population compared to 1960 and far less than 1980.
