As much as the Thanksgiving dinner tradition is a good thing, hunger never takes a day off and providing meals through cash donations to the food bank is a much more effective way to combat hunger in Duluth.

This is a pretty nice thing that is done for those who need a free meal. One observation though, it’s funny how you can offer a free meal and get 5000 people to attend, but if you want volunteers for any civic minded type project that takes even just a few hours you’ll struggle to get 50.
