Absolutely could have been built cheaper 20 years ago, 10 years ago, 5 years ago and last year. The problem is that the same liberal hacks whining now, were whining all those other years for essentially the same reasons…the money could be spent better (i.e. in their back yard) as opposed to our area where this has become a REAL problem. Idiots like Husley have no idea how this bridge effects this area, yet thinks he is speaking “for the people”.

you forgot to list they got the *action alert* from the Sierra Club, and being good lapdogs followed orders to oppose the new bridge. And to think I used to belong to the Sierra Club, even went on a service trip to BC…glad I grew up and realized human life is more important than, in this case, some river view for a boater.
