“With $5.2 million invested in the BAC — $4.7 million of which came from grants and state allotments and $500,000 from the city of Worthington “………Remember, grants and state allotments is just another name for taxpayers $$$. I hope this succeeds for the community, but the article makes it sound like it’s a “build it and they will come” project , but no one is coming.
Again, I hope it works because this is the kind of business that will help the city’s image. Maybe I read too much into the article, I just hope it doesn’t turn into a large $$$ investment that sits unoccupied for months or years. Your thoughts?
