Um. No. She is a DFL-AFSCME-DFD-union backed. Those types don’t know what a cut is. But they know what a tax increase is though,

Spot on David. Halberg is nothing less than another DFL-AFSCME-DFD DECEPTICON who was appointed by the gang of 6 DFL-AFSCME-DFD DECEPTICONS. The truth is that Halberg is for the government unions and herself way above the poor and job creators.

What is with you people, wabene? What sounds like hyperbole? Is she not backed by the DFL? Is she not got the endorsement from the from the unions? The world would be a better place without public sector unions. They have lavish health plans, lavish pension funds. I don’t have a union a job, and have to save for my own retirement. Why should I pay for someones retirement?

wabene: Do you really think Halberg will abstain from voting on union or city worker issues and contracts? NO WAY. The union is puting her there to smooth the way for increases in union pay and benefits. She is nothing but a union puppet and will dance any dance the union wants her to. We need less union puppets and more councilors with their own brain.

Krause is the best candidate to Stop the Gravy Train. He’ll put taxpayers’ interests before that of labor and special interests. Kowtowing to the powerful city employee unions with their ultra generous benefits and retirement plans has to end for this City to move forward. Krause is a proven leader who will prioritize core services & hold the line on rising taxes and fee increases. Halberg has shown no respect for taxpayers and her personal finances have been mismanaged as well .

Just a thought: What happens if the city clowncil and the screwel board become populated with only union and DFL puppets, and things don’t take a dramatic turn for the better? If the city continues to circle the drain and businesses continue to close down and working folk continue to leave town and welfare roles continue to climb and local taxes continue to skyrocket, who are our politicians going to blame? At that point it will become quite obvious to every citizen as to who is causing our problems, if the citizens haven’t already figured that out before then. A DFL stranglehold on any community is definitely not a good thing.

The DFL/Union people don’t seem to be happy with simple majority control of local government. They apparently won’t rest until they get the full package…that is complete control over both sides of the labor negotiations bargaining table. Taxpayers beware…you ain’t seen nothing yet.
