Fran Romsdal, president of the Jamestown Cabin Association, said the increase in costs would be a hardship for cabin owners, who have already been hit hard by water damage.

I’m sure people are going to feel sorry for them. Maybe they can hold a fundraiser?

Can someone tell me why the story doesn’t match the comment section? The story is about drag racing and the comments are about cabin rates.
I see the same thing is happening with the story about legislative redistricting. The comments are about the UND mascot.
I’m also seeing something else. The stories that allow comments has dropped drastically. Apparently some people don’t want to know what the rest of us are thinking.

It’s because they’re going to eliminate the comments here pretty soon. They did it on the Forum site and they’ll do it here. They don’t actually want to hear from anyone about their articles. The real issue is how people get the flip side of the issue after nobody can comment here. What then?

I will agree with you, it seems that someone doesn’t want comments on their stories.

The Sun seems to be a duckies and bunnies newspaper. All you need to do is look at the Bravos and Buffalo Chips each week to see that.

Yea, they like to give bravos every week about the airport boardings. Seems they forget that each passenger costs the US taxpayer $500.

The links leading to the wrong comment section has been a persistent problem for about a week now. Tech support has been emailed and according to them, they are working on the problem. For a while they took down the comments module on the Sun’s main page in order to try to fix it; I’m not sure if they’re going to do that again, but it’s a possibility.
It is the Sun’s policy to allow comments on all locally-generated stories. This does not include non-locally-generated content, nor does it include local briefs.

Fred, That’s about to change once Great Lakes takes over with their 19 passenger planes. Boardings may reach record lows.
