DNT again fails to mention that she is a puppet for the DFL, DFD, AFSCME, and other union-backed groups. If she is elected, nothing will change in Duluth.

Clear differences between the candidates, Fedora’s a pragmatic, thoughtful, responsive, inclusive fiscal conservative & Julsrud is the latest in a long line of candidates heavily financed and supported by unions. Julrud’s suggestion of increasing staffing levels clearly means bigger government, higher taxes.
Some blurbs – Julsrud has drawn not only financial support from organized labor but campaign help, as well. Fedora said soft contributions such as that won’t be reported until after the election.
Julsrud said she doubts that further cuts to city staff are part of the answer. ‘I think we’ve already cut to the bare bones, I’d like to see a push toward increasing staffing levels.’

You can’t be supported by the unions and be “objective”. Period. It doesn’t matter if it’s this gal, Sharla, Dayton, or Obama. If you take money from the unions you’re their puppet, or you’re gone. It’s why AFSCME/MAPE/IAFF gets whatever they want in Duluth, it’s why Dayton’s toying with the idea of unionizing child care workers, and it’s why Obama and his cronies are hell-bent on destroying Boeing.
Todd Fedora is a top-notch councilor. Heaven forbid he actually has the guts to tell someone they’re wrong and explain why. Oh no, he might hurt someone’s feelbads.
Duluth needs a councilor who’ll actually stand up to special interests, use those things called “logic” and “common sense” and then make informed decisions. Not another marionette for the unions to take more money from the taxpayer.

Julsrud lost her credibility once she crossed the threshold of accepting political donations from various city unions. She claims she will represent her constituents but we all know that when someone gives you money they expect something in return. The tax payers deserve better than this and unfortunately I do not believe they will get what they want from someone who has already tied her strings to special interests.
