Be sure to film the true Jamestown: aging population and declining numbers, a heavily subsidized airport, a very small hospital, and of course the winless f

(posted before I was ready),
I was saying, the win less football team.
I hope this isn’t going to be another Jamestown propaganda job where the negatives all get overlooked or hidden.

What a waste of $19,000!! This project reeks of desperation. I wonder if they’ll mention the failing sewer system or the poor roads in the area or the lack of adequate snow removal or the lack of shopping and entertainment. $19,000 is a lot of money to spend on lipstick!!

You got it. Throw tax money at it and hope nobody notices. The way Jamestown goes to any length to change the perception of this place is incredible.
Also interesting is how comments aren’t allowed on anything involving EAS or the hospital any more.
Hot debate. What do you think? 19 23
The only way this would be worth it is if Terry Bradshaw is going to be there. Please tell me he is! I’m going just to check haha.

You all are so negative about Jamestown. I love Jamestown and believe it is a great place to live and raise your children. So, if you don’t like it, please move and if you aren’t even living here, don’t comment. No body cares if you lived there before… quit whining.

I’m sorry Katie, but that’s not how the internet works. Citizens dissenting their irresponsible local government’s spending is a civic duty above all else. If you don’t like seeing the world through rose colored glasses you can simply not read comments from other citizens. Ok? No one’s forcing you to come here.

Mark, obviously more people feel the way katie does if you look at the ratings, like I stated to fred every place has its downfalls, Jamestown has its fare share, however it is still a fantastic place to live, if you don’t feel that way maybe you should move.

actually, it’s worse than that. they apparently used to live here years ago. so it’s mostly just sour grapes. one might wonder why they keep checking the newspaper website for a place they don ‘t live anymore and dislike so much. hard to tell, maybe it makes them feel better somehow.

As long as Jamestown keeps distorting the truth, I’m going to keep posting.
I know a lot of people would like me to go away. Not because I’m wrong, but because I’m right.

Sometimes being totally wrong is difficult for certain personalities to digest so they stomp their feet and clap their hands to divert attention from their wrongness, I think that may have been discussed at the Kindergarden conference earlier this week, I don’t know.

Fred, You are right on the money. Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt, it goes right through the heart of Jamestown. The sooner that the people of Jamestown face the truth, the better it will be for everyone.

Sounds like a tax payer funded publicity stunt by our mayor – congressional run anyone?
