Thursday State Sports Briefs: State Assembly committee approves bill dealing with prep athlete concussions

Wisconsin Sports Wisconsin’s young athletes would have to be removed from competition at the first sign of a concussion, under a bill endorsed today in Madison. The state Assembly’s Education Committee voted 11-0 in favor of guidelines that would affect public and private school athletes plus those in clubs and other groups.
