“THE WASTE CONTINUES” should be the caption of this article.
Bad enough we tax payers ‘pay’ for the planes, pilots and USFS officials to ‘survey’ their own self-inflected disaster, by buzzzing around in airplanes, but now we are still ‘paying’ them to walk through their disaster!!
ANOTHER GOVERNMENT MILK-MACHINE..
An absolute waste of timber/ time and $$$ from the very beginning of this stoppable/manmade disaster. !!!
And to think, a majority of the people, take this DISASTER, hook/ line & sinker as being OK ??? You tax payers need to WAKE UP !!!
There will be two feet of snow on the ground soon, and this government milk machine, with this fire will continue ,,, at the tax payers expense !!!
Makes you wonder “what the hell would these USFS/ GOVERNMENT employees be doing if there was no fire”???

First off cribmaster, the fire was not a waste of timber. The trees are in a wilderness area, it is not like they would otherwise be harvested. Second, there are always daily flights over the BWCAW regardless of the fire.
