It would have kicked it square in its butt. Though the eco-freaks don’t care. They don’t realize that shipping is one of the best ways of reducing pollution in terms of freight hauled by volume. That or there’s people who don’t comprehend that totally revamping a bilge system isn’t like changing a car’s air filter.
Yes there’s ways to improve, but that’s why you work with the shipping industry. Not get a bunch of granola-chewing Mac-using hippies who’ve never even seen a lake freighter designating these rules.
