Good one….Now even the weather is a big bad Liberal…..Come on John…Give yourself a break and leave the pundits alone for a couple weeks….You really need a break if you’re going this much off the deep end…..

Here’s what bothers me about these kind of big bad winter predictions…..It makes it sound like we’re under an attack by the weather and a painful winter is imminant. I’ve lived up north all my life and have seen winters where it never got above zero for over a month, or winters where the drifts were so high that many people could only be seen from around the shoulders up when walking on a cleared sidewalk by their homes…And then I’ve seen winters where people were out riding bikes wearing spring clothes in January…..This is the Upper Midwest…Winters are winters…Not an attack on us. If you’re going to live up north then you need to have a mindset for winter living or you become what many who give us the weather have become…..Winter Worriers…..There’s nothing wrong with being cautious and prepared, but if you’re going to worry about winters…..Might I suggest finding someplace below the Mason Dixon line….

Every year that I have been here it has been -40 for at least a week, and the snow sticks around until April. That’s just North Dakota. It’s not like that in Wyoming though. When it snows there, it’s usually melted in a day or two.

Predicting a cold winter, brilliant. I also predict that sunlight during the day will grow shorter until December 21st and then it will gradually get longer. Towards April, snow will melt and temps will increase. Wanna bet? This is not the La Nina theory, its the Ya Mama theory.
