WORTHINGTON As a dental student in the 1980s in Kansas City, Jerry Johnson remembers driving down a highway and being drawn to a sign advertising a knife show.
“So I stopped,” he recalled. “But there was a $5 admission, and I didn’t have $5 I was a broke dental student so I didn’t go in. I wish I had.”
