But what does any of these polls really tell us? That those who have served naturally need to believe that it meant something because see all the death had to be as a result of something worth while or it was all just meaningless slaughter……Who could live with that mind set? How about a poll asking the military their opinion about how their country actually supports them….Other than with cute little signs telling everyone to do so? How do they feel having to be involved in wars that have all but been forgotten over here because of the lack of real coverage and/or the lack of most of us back home having to sacrifice (Other than their families) anything for the war effort other than the numbers we read that tell us of the costs to our tax bill. The questions they used for civilians and the military were pretty predictable in their outcome….Had they asked the military questions pertaining to how much actual “Support” they fell from all of the civilians and their government……Maybe that would open some eyes…And maybe for once we’d think…Now that’s a poll that acctually means something…
