GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) Local union officials representing the 1,300 locked out American Crystal Sugar workers have mailed letters seeking to meet with growers of the sugar beet cooperative as the harvest begins.

when one reads all this is seems to lead to the union shows up or wants to show up and the company just leaves that one time offer at the table and wont come…makes me think the union is trying to talk and is reaching out to the farmers instead of the corporate offices….to bad the corporate cant say they would like to come and talk,.it would seem to be then in good faith

ACSC’s corporate office has been sending out letters to union members behind the BTCGM’s back instead trying to tout it’s non-negotiable “final offer”. And they have the gall to be upset bwith the union for trying to contact the groewrs.
