Holy moley! What a huge amount of produce! That will feed a lot of hungry people. Mr. Faust did a wonderful thoughtful thing, and so did the Valley City State students who helped him pick it all. An awesome story!

Hooray for Valley State–don’t see NDSU doing anything like this–probably too busy texting, tweeting, going to the mall, etc

This is a fabulous story! Finally something good in the news! A story like this shows the true character of Mr Faust along with all those who volunteered to help harvest. This just goes to show that one person CAN make a difference!

Maybe this is the type of thing that is needed with so many in other parts of the country unemployed. If only 5 acres were donated, along with seed, and the people doing the work, think of the amount of food that could be raised. In fact, all people need is a pot of some sort, and they could raise tomatoes, peppers, and stuff for their own use.
sounds like something that could help solve world hunger.Good on you Mr. Faust.
