I did some of the groundwork for this collection at the Institute for Regional Studies. I was a history student at NDSU and Cal Olson was my class project. This is a wonderful collection filled with countless images spanning many decades. Cal was a great photographer (or newspaperman) who captured fantastic images ranging from everyday life to major events. I highly encourage everyone to see this collection, or at least view the images that are available online.
