I don’t think the bars are to blame. They could offer drinks for free and it still is the responsibility of the drinker to either keep themselves from drinking too much to drive or to arrange for alternate transportation. Now, if the drinker cannot handle that, then the bartenders do need to be educated to the point of cutting off the intoxicated person for their own safety.
Just because the bars offer drink specials doesn’t mean that more people get a DWI. The drinker has to assume the responsibility for their actions.
I think one problem with many people is that they really don’t understand the dangers involved with alcohol use / abuse. People can drink if they want to, but they need to be responsible.

How much can aperson drink now days and stay under the legal limit? depending on your weight one drink can bring you over the legal limit of 0.08%.

You guys have never been to some of the downtown bars obviously if you think 1 drink couldn’t get a 110 lb female at or above the legal limit.
