I thought this was because of the increase in rights from studios. If they wanted to get rid of the dvd service then they should have the streaming offer the same services. I used them because the complimented each other. Old dvd’s were on streaming and the newer episodes were on disc only. This only outraged people because the price was increased by 60% and explained that people only wanted discs and others only streaming. Compound that by the fact they didn’t give a crap when outrage was expressed. Now that stock is dropping they are testing the waters with Q&A’s? Is Latin and South America not making them enough money? They launched that after they told American consumers that cost were getting too high. Maybe they should have updated their library in streaming before the price change and split. Make your current customers happy before venturing into new territory and making it look like a money grab. I was a Netflix subscriber and since cancelled.
