Lowered flag honors fallen soldier

The Wisconsin Department of Military affairs confirms an order issued by Gov. Scott Walker for flags to be lowered to half staff between sunrise and sunset Monday, Sept. 19, to honor U.S. Army Sgt. I find it strange that we’re now lowering flags for soldiers that died on vacation. At this rate, the flags will never be at full-staff ever again. I know of two places that permanently keep their flags at half-staff because the orders have been occurring so often.
