Just build it and be done. Don’t drag your feet like the county and waste millions by putting band-aids on everything.

This project reminds me of the U.S. Air Force. They build the best barracks, chow hall, gyms etc., then go back next year and ask Congress for more money so they can build a runway. When can we expect the new referendum after we approve this one?

The following statement is barely accurate and is actually quite misleading = “For a total cost of $70.5 million, with $65.15 million paid by district taxpayers over the course of 25 years,……”
District 206 taxpayers will pay FAR greater than $65 million after you factor in the debt service costs over the course of the 25-year bond.

I agree with Shane – hey that’s a first!!
Let’s not bungle this like the county did. The current school was built on a swamp and was not in good shape 25 years ago when I went there. The school and hospital are the two main constants to judge a town on. We got the hospital – let’s get the school and do it right!

P.S. to Mrs Wogan (From letter last week) I do pay a lot of real extate taxes – I’m not a “Renter or welfare recipient, or Norwegian” or whomever else you listed that you do not feel should have a vote. By the way – do you think that the real estate taxes are included in the rent that Tech school students pay? SO they really are taxpayers!
