Wow, my first new car was a 1985 Dodge Colt, 2-DR hatchback same color as this one. Vinyl interior, no air conditioning, 4 speed manual transmission (the 5 speed was extra – just kidding) with a snappy what, a 1.5 L four cylinder? Great gas mileage and not much to go wrong I only sold it after I got married and needed to use a car seat (and air conditioning.)
This is not a heavy car, the back was incredibly light and two strapping lads who had exceeded their beers/years ratio could easily lift it.
