What this article fails to address is change in property tax law where the county will no longer be getting market value credits from the state. This funding source will have to be absorbed by the tax payers. Add that on top of a 7% levy hike and the tax payers are looking at a large increase in their property tax next year.

Democrats fought hard to increase taxes on the richest of the rich Minnesotans, but the Republicans made sure that the middle class pay more instead. The richest of the rich pay less in taxes than everyone else!
No new taxes, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. What a lie!
Hot debate. What do you think?
