Tourists, locals alike honored by King memorial

Some were locals who’ve watched for years as the memorial to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. took shape on the National Mall. Some were tourists who happened to be in Washington the day it opened. Ask the MLK family how much they got paid by the MLK Foundation to for the rights to use the MLK name. In case they won’t comment like they haven’t yet, it was found out to be $800,000. How benevolent!
