Okay, here’s a family that has been hip deep in ND GOP politics for a lot of years now. They come into this situation and they assume the fix is in and the decision is already made. Why would they think that? I would think it is years of experience seeing how decisions are made and people are chosen by the ND GOP.

It’s pretty presumptuous for the widow of a deceased legislator to believe she and her family should have input into choosing a successor. To imply that somehow the position is cosanguinary is outrageous.
