There is so much money, you can’t even imagine how much. 2% of the population now has more money than the rest of the 98% combined. Why protect and defend those who have way more money than you do, when you are carrying a bigger load than they are? That doesn’t make any sense. That lacks common sense! I even question their sanity at times.
Warren Buffett has a very interesting message that is on the New York Times website today. He, and other uber rich folk don’t want to be coddled. Tax them more, he says. They can handle it.
They can still be uber rich and the rest get jobs, keep their homes and we can get this economy going in the right direction again.
Go read the article. It has some very good information in it and explains some things about taxes that special interest groups won’t tell you.

I read Buffett’s op-ed piece and it was brilliant. But, then again, so is he. He, along with the Gates Foundation and Bono, have established foundations to give away the majority of their wealth to global causes — while they’re still alive. He’s an amazing gentleman and one of the most widely-respected businessman in the world. In spite of that,will the greedy listen? Unfortunately, I doubt it. He’s probably speaking at too high a level for the average political hack or interest group to comprehend. Nor are they willing to understand.

I agree. It was brilliant.
No one really believes that you can solve the budget problems with cuts only. No one that matters and half a lick of common sense anyway. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates among other super rich all know this. Cuts only will only exasperate the problem.
My guess is a lot of Republicans know this too, but would just like to keep that under their hat.
