Why can’t the county commissioners please be honest with the community? Bev Bales states in this article ditch maintenance and cleaning will continue on all ditches according to State Law. Yet commissioner Anderson at the meeting directed Dave Robley and Tom Anderson to immediately stop all ditch cleaning and general maintenace on Ditch #9 including immediately calling and stopping the contractor who was doing general maintenance and cleaning on Ditch # 9. In fact Ditch inspector Tom Anderson told me that even if a floating bog 100% blocked a culvert his interpretation was he could not remove it. Anyone who knows commissioner Anderson, commissioner Bales or Ditch inspector Tom Anderson please call them and have them clarify this in a public forum where all residents can see it. It’s a sad day when county commissioners can do one thing at a meeting and mislead the general public who could not attend by printing something different in the newspaper.
