City to pay more than $13,000 in land deal

Two Harbors City Council members unanimously voted Monday night to make an amendment to a resolution made earlier this year in which the company run by Sam Cave offered land to the city as a donation. It will cost the city $10,000 more than it bargained for.

Now why doesn’t it surprise me that Sam Cave reneged on a deal? That was his modus operandi the whole time he dealt with Two Harbors. Unfortunately, some people never figured that out. It’s good to bite the bullet, I guess, to get clear title to that property.
