Mitchell’s ‘Dummerslam’ hits snag; previous year’s events were technically illegal

For three years, Jason Bates has been the owner and operator of Big Dummy’s, a Main Street Mitchell bar where darts are thrown and beers are served.
But, once a year, Bates dons an orange beret and becomes “Dupae Rupa, the Belgian Brawler,” a wrestler who headlines the annual Dummerslam wrestling event held in the bar’s outdoor beer garden.
