Mike Nekuda was not the coach of the Dakota State Men’s Cross Country team that won the 2009 DAC Conference title. According to your article, he was a high school coach in Wyoming at the time. Trent Mack was the head coach of the 2009 Trojans squad that upset Black Hills to win the DAC. Nekuda was only the head coach at Dakota State for one season before leaving to provide “stability” at Dickinson State.
