I am starting to wonder if it is about the state and the people or if it is about throwing the blame on someone else and getting votes. Governor Dayton says things (as reported in the various news media) and does things (big state tour) that are making me think he is using us (the people) as a political tool for his own gain. I can accept politics and the parties sniping at each other, but not when it is happening on the backs of the taxpayers and state workers. TAX the rich, redistribute it, and we ALL will be rich doesn’t work. The truth is: The state already has more revenues coming in. I often make priority decisions at home when it comes to spending money, and cuts have been made at our house, and more might have to happen. So it is with the state of Minnesota. It sounds good and feels good to have programs. Those programs are out of control and need to be brought back inline with reality. Minnesota needs a reality check, take a look at “needs” and “wants” and re-think strategy for what are governments responsibilities. Governor Dayton is so far out of touch with the average minnesota resident and so confused about what will help and encourage them that he has his “needs” and “wants” all mixed up. Get back to work and stop playing games on the backs of the people!!!
