Sewage sludge contains hazardous waste like flame retardants, heavy metals (lead, mercury), endocrine disruptors, and pharmaceuticals.
A PR/lobbying firm changed the name to “biosolids†so they could sell the stuff instead of paying to have it put in landfills. But it is STILL toxic waste from industrial sewage.
