OMG this murdering mom just got away with murder!! This may have knocked the OJ verdict of not guilty into second place? Then this good for nothing, selfish cold hearted mom throws her mother, father, and brother under a bus just so she can escape accountability for her crime. She ruined their reputation, and bascially pointed a finger at them! What was worst yet is this jury brought into this lame duck excuse, and used no insight finding her guilty of lying? Hellow if she lied it was because she was guilty, good grief! I have seen parents with less evidence found guilty. She kills her baby, and maybe it was an accident? Then she duct tapes the babies mouth, and dumps the child in the woods. Later on she is partying like its 1999, even when she knows the child had disappeared. Come on this cannot be happening? Now here is what comes next, she makes several million on book rights, magazine interviews, and another few million on movie rights which we know dam well, will portray her as the real victim. Please turn on your porch light for Caylee the real victim in this sad case of injustice, much like the Ramsey little girl.

You are right Jimmy no justice for this little girl. The other tragic part to this trial is the way this mother turned on her family, accusing them of sexual abuse and making it seem they were responsible for her daughters death. There is not one decent bone in this womens body.

I wish this kind of news would stay local – it is a tragedy, but CNN did a disservice by covering this story every day. Our country has real National problems. This is an example of ‘lazy’ reporting. Why not spend time investigating the criminals who caused our financial collapse? If this story had been about a black baby girl would have Nancy Grace cared so much? There are so many horrible stories (unfortunately) and they are not given this level up publicity – this level of sensationalism t.v. makes me sick. Maybe without the cameras the truth would have come out much sooner – and maybe a different verdict too.

This is a case of the media hype, on a case that tears at our hearts. Unfortunately there are cases in the courts everyday all across our nation, which are horrific, yet do not get national attention. I don’t see why the media feels they need to put this on the national level. The jury made a decision, with the information produced in court, the decision with the media’s information may be quite different . It’s sad to know that a little girl’s killer is free, but the verdict was “Not Guilty”, not “Innocent”. The only reason they cover and hype these kinds of stories is for ratings. Nothing is ever covered on the hundreds of children killed everyday in a “legal” clinic environment.

Wayne why try to bring abortion into the already tragic case? In your mind legally having an abortion is injustice. A womens body is not for you me or anyone else to judge, that is what God does. Abortion is legal murdering a child and leaving the child in the woods is not! Your Religious beliefs should not be imposed on others no matter what the pro-life or Relgious groups say, this is America. How many children have you adopted since you feel the way you do?

Casey is home alone with Caylee. Casey is on facebook for 2 hours while Caylee plays by herself in another room. When Casey finally goes to check on Caylee, Casey finds that the child has choked to death on a piece of food. Afraid of her mom and dad, and horrified over what she negligently allowed to happen, Casey panics, places Caylee’s body in her car and immediately moves out of her parent’s home. After a day or so, the decomposing child begins to leak fluids from her mouth and nose. Not wanting to part with her little girl, Casey carefully places duct tape over the child’s mouth and nose, draws a heart on the child’s mouth and continues to keep the child near her in her car. After one week, the body is decaying to the extent Casey feels she has no choice but to bury the body. After carefully wrapping little Caylee’s body in a blanket, Casey heartbrokenly places the child’s body in a plastic bag and returns to a vacant lot near her home to bury Caylee. Even though returning to her home neighborhood could mean getting caught by her parents, Casey’s need to bury the child near her home justifies the risk. However, due to the traffic, Casey is unable to do a good job and is forced to leave the child in a shallow grave. Not wanting to face what has happened, or her epically dysfunctional family, Casey stays gone for 31 days and works extra hard to appear to her friends as if nothing is wrong. Once located, Casey concocts lie after lie to cover up what actually happened. Point to one reason why this theory is any less plausible than the state’s murder theory.

My point is that Casey is not reviled based upon the facts of the case, rather, upon the spin that has been placed on those facts.

Give it up Wayne, its legal for a reason. There are many women like this women who are uncapable of caring for a child. Of course if people like you want to see back alley abortions, children thrown in the trash cans, or left on church door steps, then leave abortion to a womens right to decide what she does with her own body. God is her judge, not me you or anyone else.
